4/27 – Difficult Texts: Literature in a Time of Crisis

Be free and easy and come on out for the annual conference for the English MA Program!  This year’s topic is Difficult Texts, which will encompass presentations on a wide range of texts and topics, from Paradise Lost and Wuthering Heights, to The House on Mango Street, not to mention slave narratives, superhero comics, and protest radio.

This year’s keynote speech comes from Tanya Agathocleous, Associate Professor of English at Hunter College, on “The Uses of Disaffection.”
